You know American society is in trouble when Fox Sports has to resort to advertising Major League Baseball playoffs as if it is a reality TV show. Their ad says: 8 teams, 1 Champion. I'm sorry, but since when does live automatically have to be lumped into reality. Granted, live=reality as in the event is going on as we watch, but I think it is degrading to the American pasttime by making it resemble second rate television.
